Dai Qian Yun is the only Malaysian to be chosen by MediaCorp to be signed on as a full artiste after winning Star Search 2003 in the Malaysia rounds, a regional bieannial talent contest, conducted locally.
Her first foray into the limelight was a televsion commercial for “Follow Me”. That gave her termendous exposure, and immediately after signing the contract with MediaCorp, Qian Yun’s debut is in a Chinese drama serial, “三十风雨路”, acting alongside award-winning best actress, Huang Bi Ren and other veteran actors like Liu Qian Yi and Terence Cao.
Given her broad interest in the various areas of performing arts; singing, dancing and hosting, Qian Yun’s relentless drive pursue higher grounds coupled with her inborne flair for performing will bring her thus far in the entertainment industry.
